Having a problem when I print my own pictures?
That's the right photo paper! Sounds like something is wrong with the ink, or the settings in the 'control panel' for the printer. I've never seen this even with bad settings though! I tend to lean towards bad ink, or bad ink cartridges! Perhaps you might think of putting some gloves on,( like the kind used for dishwashing), un-plugging the printer, then opening the printer, and taking the ink cartridges out. Inspect them for signs of extra ink, where they attach to the printer. This area has very minute holes where ink comes out. Sometimes they clog from sitting too long,(haven't used printer in a month or two), and just need a warm water, damp,(old), washcloth,(or a lint-free cloth would be better), wiped across them to clean them up, and unclog these ports. I'd do the same with the area on the printer where they attach. After you're sure they're clean, if you have a can of compressed air for computers I'd use it to insure the area in the printer is dry. Don't think I'd use it on the cartridge/s though, might get ink blown into your face! After you're sure the printers dry, and the cartridge surface, install the cartridge/s, close the printer, plug it back in, and turn it on. Go to it's 'control panel', and use the alignment feature, and do a test strip. See what happens now. If this doesn't work, I'd buy new ink cartridges. (I wouldn't try to refill them. The cartridge units might be bad also!)
